Be Prepared

Ian (from Simply Made)is not sure where Ruby is going to land.
Life can take you by surprise if you aren't prepared.
I feel like this has been the theme of my week.
I have blogged before about Teri Maxwell's Managers Series, then I fell off the bandwagon. I have spent time preparing for our school, meals, activities, then I just quit. I know the things I should do and I know the results when I don't do it.
Needless to say, this week has been tough spiritually, emotionally, and physically. I am reading posts here, and here, and dedicated myself to spending some time preparing for the direction our family is trying to achieve.  I have been spending time in God's word praying for goals for each one of our children, for our family, and for myself. I know I will be called to "be prepared to make a defence to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect." 1 Peter 3:16 and "Be self controlled and sober minded for the sake of your prayers. Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins." 1 Peter 4:7-8
I am thankful that I have a savior who will forgive all my transgressions and allow me to start over. I pray that my children will love God and serve Him with their whole being despite my deficiencies.
I would love to pray for you, will you pray for me?

Good morning sweet friend. *smile* I will pray for you this morning - I'm sorry it's been a hard week for you. I hope it brings hope and encouragement to you knowing that you have good plans and vision for your family, from the Lord. He will lift you up. And I will lift you up to Him. *squeeze hugs* Looking forward to seeing you again hopefully soon. Love you to pieces.
